Protect the Integrity of the Registry
If you believe a YOU™ record contains copied material, unauthorised photographs, false information or an incorrect authorship claim, you can submit a formal report.
Important
A report does not automatically mean that the registered creator has done something wrong.
YOU™ reviews claims from both sides before making an internal Registry decision. This protects genuine creators, legitimate complainants, creators targeted by malicious reports and the integrity of the YOU™ Registry.
Who can report
Reports require legitimate grounds.
A report may be submitted by the claimed original creator, a copyright holder, an authorised representative, an owner of relevant rights or another person with legitimate grounds to report false or misleading information.

- The registered work copies my work
- My photographs were used without permission
- The applicant is not the creator or lacks authority
- The creation date is false or misleading
- The same work is already registered
- The Certificate is being misused
- An NFC tag is linked to the wrong object
- The record contains materially false information
- The work infringes third-party rights
Report form
Identify the record, the claim and the evidence
Provide enough information for the Registry team to understand and route the report.
- YOU™ ID, Certificate number or public URL
- Reporter name, email, country and relationship to the work
- Reason and detailed explanation
- Your work title, creation date, publication date and URLs
- Original photographs, process files, drafts, sketches or source files
- Dated publications, sales records, invoices or correspondence
- Declaration that the report is accurate to the best of your knowledge
Report received
A case reference and time-stamped event are created.
Initial screening
The team checks scope and available information.
Record review
The work may be marked Under Review and the registrant asked to respond.
Outcome recorded
The record may remain active, be corrected prospectively, restricted or revoked.
History preserved
Material actions remain in the tamper-evident log.
Escalation
Legal questions may be referred to independent professional support.
Claim not substantiated
The original status returns and the public warning disappears; internal dispute history remains.
Record corrected
A minor factual correction is applied prospectively and logged.
Record restricted
Selected functionality is disabled while more information is required.
Certificate suspended
Verification displays Suspended until the issue is resolved.
Registration revoked
The public page shows that the registration is no longer active instead of returning a silent 404.
