Every Work Is Reviewed Before Registration
YOU™ reviews each submission for completeness, consistency and compliance with the Registry procedures before a public record is created.
Why review matters
A registry earns trust by checking what enters it.
Review helps keep incomplete, misleading or clearly unsuitable submissions out of the public catalogue. It is a procedural assessment of the submitted record—not a legal judgment or a worldwide originality guarantee.
Completeness
Submitted information and required files are present.
Consistency
Photographs and the description refer to the same work.
Duplicate checks
The work does not appear to repeat an existing registration.
Third-party material
The submission does not show obvious misuse of another creator’s photographs.
Dates and evidence
Creation dates and supporting material do not contain unexplained inconsistencies.
Applicant declaration
The applicant has completed the required declaration and Registry rules.
What we may request
Additional evidence may be needed before a decision.

- Sketches, drafts or earlier files
- Source files and timestamps
- Publication history
- Sales records
- Other supporting information
Submitted
The artist completes the record and confirms the declarations.
Under Review
The work remains private while a reviewer checks the materials.
Approved
The approved manifest proceeds to qualified timestamp finalisation. A YOU™ ID is activated only after token validation; the provider integration is currently pending.
More Information Required
The applicant is asked to clarify or replace specific information.
Rejected
The work is not registered; the reason and review history are preserved.
