Independent legal support

When Your Registration Becomes Evidence.

Registration creates documentation. When a real dispute begins, independent legal professionals can help assess how that evidence may be used.

Someone Copied My Work. What Now?

Preserve the evidence before deciding whether to contact the other party. Save complete URLs, dated screenshots, listing details, seller information and correspondence. Keep your own original photographs, WIP images, drafts and sales records. Do not describe a disputed allegation as an established fact.

01

Preserve

Keep the original files and a dated account of what you found.

02

Organise

Connect the disputed material with your work, record and relevant history.

03

Seek advice

Ask a professional about rights, jurisdiction, evidence and proportionate next steps.

What the Record Can Add.

  • The original submission and declared creator connection
  • Identifying photographs, characteristics and supporting materials
  • Review events, hashes and registration versions
  • Qualified timestamp evidence only if actually issued and validated
  • Certificate, NFC and recorded ownership events

A self-issued PDF is one piece of information. A structured chronology can make a later examination easier. YOU™ does not decide authorship, ownership of rights, infringement, damages, liability or a court outcome.

Example: Aurora, Five Years Later.

Illustrative scenario: in 2026 Anna documents an art doll from six views, records its materials and dimensions, and submits it for review. In a fully connected qualified-timestamp workflow, the final manifest receives external time attestation before activation. In 2031, a publication has disappeared and a copying dispute arises.

The retained submission, hashes, genuine timestamp evidence, Certificate history and ownership events can help a lawyer reconstruct the sequence. This is an example of the intended evidence architecture, not a claim that the current Aurora demonstration has a qualified token. It does not mean “case won”.

What the Qualified Electronic Timestamp Adds.

Under Article 41, qualified electronic timestamps benefit from a presumption concerning their indicated date and time and the integrity of the bound data. This is not a presumption that the applicant is the legal author of a physical work.

eIDAS Regulation, Articles 41–42

Article 42 sets the qualifying requirements. Implementing Regulation 2025/1929 identifies reference standards, including ETSI EN 319 421 and EN 319 422, with specified adaptations.

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1929

Independent Professionals. A Separate Engagement.

YOU™ cooperates with independent legal agencies and legal professionals across EU countries. Depending on jurisdiction, availability and the case, they may assess evidence, advise on rights, prepare formal correspondence, contact platforms, negotiate, seek settlement and represent a client where professionally qualified.

Legal services are provided separately by the relevant independent professional under their own terms and fees. Registration prices do not include a lawyer, court costs or litigation insurance. YOU™ is not a court, governmental intellectual property registry or law firm.

Request Legal Support.

Send your name, contact email, country, YOU™ ID or submission ID, issue summary and relevant links. Indicate the other party’s country if known. Selected private evidence is shared with an independent professional only through an appropriate, agreed process.
