Not yet. The qualified provider integration is pending. New registrations must wait for a validated Qualified Electronic Timestamp before their public ID can be activated. An ordinary server date is not presented as qualified proof of time.

Provide creator and applicant information, work title, creation date, category, materials, additional elements, dimensions, description and six clear photographs of the finished work. Explain any third-party contributions and your authority to submit.

Overview, front, back, side, top and bottom help connect the record to the same physical object. They document details, construction and distinguishing characteristics that a single photograph can miss.

You may submit it if you have authority and sufficient evidence. State the original creation date honestly and explain earlier ownership. The new registration date records the current registration; it does not backdate it.

Explain this to the review team and provide available photographs, creation evidence and sales or ownership information. Additional evidence may be required and acceptance is not guaranteed.

It is the date declared by the applicant for creation of the work. It is not independently proved simply because it appears in the record.

The registration date is assigned by the system when registration is activated. It cannot be selected to imply an earlier registration. Submission time, review time and qualified timestamp time are separate events.

Only after review approval, finalisation of the Registration Manifest and successful validation and storage of a Qualified Electronic Timestamp. Until the provider integration is available, new submissions remain pending.

You receive the review decision and can contact support with clarification or a corrected submission. A submission or payment does not guarantee approval; the review history must remain traceable.

Ask support to record the correction. Approved evidence must not be silently overwritten: the correction, reason and any new version must remain linked to the earlier history.

Yes. Review is required for every new submission. It checks completeness, consistency, identifying details and obvious problems before the record can proceed to timestamp finalisation.

No. Review is not a court decision, expert attribution guarantee or worldwide originality search. It assesses the submitted materials within the YOU™ procedure.

No. Do not treat acceptance as confirmation that no similar work or earlier right exists anywhere.

Process photographs, sketches, drafts, earlier files, publication history, sales information and explanations about dates, photographs or third-party contributions.

A submission can be rejected or returned for information. Contact support with the submission reference and specific evidence supporting reconsideration. A reviewer must record the new decision.

No. Payment does not bypass Review or qualified timestamp validation, and a pending work must not be presented as registered.

It is an electronic timestamp meeting the eIDAS qualification requirements, issued through a qualified trust service. It binds time to data and carries a specific legal presumption for the indicated date/time and the integrity of the bound data.

It adds independent evidence of time to the finalised record rather than relying only on the operator’s database clock. This is a mandatory activation requirement; the provider integration is currently pending.

A Qualified Trust Service Provider must provide the qualified timestamping service. YOU™ is not presented as a QTSP. Both the provider and the relevant service qualification must be checked against the applicable trusted-list information.

Article 41(2) gives qualified timestamps a presumption of accuracy of their date and time and integrity of the data bound to them. Article 41(1) also prevents rejection of an electronic timestamp solely because it is electronic or not qualified. Neither provision automatically establishes who created a physical work.

The timestamp must bind date and time to data so that undetected alteration is reasonably prevented, use an accurate time source linked to UTC, and meet the qualified-provider signature, seal or equivalent-method requirements.

Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1929 identifies reference standards and specifications, including ETSI EN 319 421 and ETSI EN 319 422 with the adaptations in its Annex. A hash or a provider logo alone does not demonstrate qualified compliance.

No. A database date, blockchain entry or ordinary timestamp is not automatically a Qualified Electronic Timestamp. Qualification depends on the eIDAS requirements and the qualified trust service used.

No. Its presumption concerns the timestamped data, date/time and integrity. Authorship, rights and the connection between submitted files and the physical object require additional evidence and legal assessment.

It supports the integrity and indicated time of the data bound to the token. The creator declaration, photographs, review history and other evidence give those data context.

The intended design submits the final manifest hash. No QTSP is connected in this release. The actual provider, transmitted metadata and processing arrangements must be documented before activation; hash-only transfer is not claimed as an implemented fact.

Long-term verification requires retaining the token, manifest and relevant validation material, with a preservation strategy as certificates and algorithms age. YOU™ does not currently claim a completed qualified long-term preservation service.

The registration stays pending. No new public YOU™ ID, active Registration Record or Certificate may be issued by substituting a server date. Support can review the failure and the integration can be retried once available.

A hash is a fixed-length digital fingerprint calculated from data. Changing the data changes the fingerprint with overwhelming probability. It does not identify an author or establish when a work was created.

A cryptographic hash is not a reversible image encoding. It should still be handled appropriately when linked to a person or record; knowing a hash can allow comparison with a file already in someone’s possession.

It is a structured snapshot of the approved work details, declaration, file fingerprints and review reference. Its final hash is the input intended for qualified timestamping.

Recalculating and comparing a fingerprint helps detect a changed file. A new file must be treated as a new version, not silently substituted for the original evidence.

The current log is tamper-evident: events are linked by hashes and can be checked. This does not mean a privileged server operator is physically unable to rewrite a database. Independent retained anchors and timestamp evidence are needed to strengthen detection of a complete rewrite.

The normal workflow must record changes as new events and retain earlier evidence. A local hash chain alone is not an absolute guarantee against an operator with full control. Qualified timestamp tokens are not yet present for existing records.

The original evidence should remain distinguishable from the corrected version, with the reason, actor and time recorded. Ask support to correct an approved record instead of replacing its files.

No. Administrators can inspect events for an individual work and export a TXT chronology. Private account information, security events and source evidence are not automatically published.

YOU™ does not create copyright. Whether a work is protected and who owns rights depend on applicable law and facts. EU law protects relevant reproduction and communication rights, but registration in YOU™ is not a replacement for national procedures.

The record may be submitted as part of a wider evidence package. Admissibility, weight and outcome depend on applicable procedural law and the facts. eIDAS protects electronic timestamps from rejection solely for being electronic; the Certificate itself is not a court judgment.

Yes. A report can trigger review, requests for evidence and a recorded status change. YOU™ does not resolve legal ownership of copyright by choosing the first registrant.

The individual physical doll may be distinct, but this does not give you rights in the underlying pattern or design. Disclose the source and permissions; registration cannot authorise prohibited use.

Do not assume handmade status removes third-party rights. Disclose the characters or other protected material and your legal basis. YOU™ may request clarification or reject the submission; a lawyer can assess the relevant rights.

Explain the source and your own contribution. Public-domain status can vary by jurisdiction and other rights may still apply. Registration must not imply exclusive ownership of someone else’s material.

Identify the actual creator or creators and the applicant’s authority. Payment for a commission or possession of the object does not by itself settle copyright ownership; relevant agreements and applicable law matter.

Describe the original object, original creator where known and your restoration work separately. Do not present restoration as authorship of the entire original object.

An optional document connected to a Registration Record. It displays selected work information and a way to check the current record online; it is not an independent grant of rights.

No. Registration is the foundation. The optional Certificate is a separate visible document; NFC and recorded ownership transfer are further layers.

Yes, once issued. Keep the verification link or QR code legible so a buyer can check the current online status.

A buyer can enter the YOU™ ID or use the QR link. They should compare the displayed work and status with the object and document, not rely only on the PDF image.

Check the live status. Suspension or revocation can affect a previously issued document even if its printed copy remains unchanged.

A downloaded file cannot update itself. The current online record is the place to check whether it remains active.

Yes. A copy of a PDF is not proof of possession, ownership or identity. The linked record and comparison with the actual work are essential.

An individual tag linked to a particular registered work. A compatible phone opens its online record, connecting the physical object with the digital identity.

No. The tag provides a route to the record. The record, supporting evidence and actual object still need to be considered.

On a compatible phone, the tag opens a web link to the corresponding record. A dedicated YOU™ app is not required for ordinary web-link reading; phone settings and compatibility vary.

Yes. Physical removal or damage is possible, and basic URL tags can be copied. Do not infer cryptographic anti-copy protection unless that specific tag and its server validation actually provide it.

No. One tag must remain associated with its recorded work. Report a lost, replaced or damaged tag instead of using it to identify a different object.

Contact support with the work ID and evidence of your authority. The old association and replacement should remain traceable in the history.

NFC Passport is €9.99 per work plus shipping. Packs may cover several individual works; a pack does not combine objects into one Registration Record. Check current availability and checkout charges.

Provenance is the documented history of a work, including relevant recorded ownership events. It helps explain the object’s journey, but gaps or inaccurate historical claims do not become true merely by being entered.

No. The recorded owner of the physical object is distinct from its creator and the holder of intellectual property rights. A separate rights agreement may be needed; YOU™ Ownership Transfer does not transfer copyright.

Public provenance can use a limited label such as Private Collection. Account email, address and private evidence should not automatically appear in the public record.

Yes, eligible transfers can form successive recorded events, including gifts, with the parties’ confirmation and authority. Ownership Transfer costs €1.99 per transfer.

Contact support with the relevant work and authority documents. Inheritance and estate rights depend on the applicable law; the account alone does not determine the legal successor.

A gallery’s role must be accurate: owner, representative and custodian are different relationships. Provide the authority and details needed to record the appropriate role.

First preserve evidence that could disappear. The best next step may be a platform report, a direct request or independent legal advice, depending on the facts and urgency.

Keep original files, publication dates, the copied listing URL, screenshots and any relevant sales or messages. Photograph rights and rights in the depicted object can be separate.

Use Report a Work with the record ID, your contact details, the issue and supporting evidence. Explain your connection to the work and which information you challenge.

No. A report starts assessment; it does not prove wrongdoing. The record may be marked Under Review or Suspended while evidence is considered.

Where the review outcome warrants it, a status may change to Suspended or Revoked with the reason and history retained. This is a platform decision, not a finding of legal infringement.

Revocation should remain traceable rather than silently disappearing. You can request reconsideration with specific evidence; privacy and lawful retention requirements still apply.

No. Independent lawyers and competent authorities assess legal disputes. YOU™ reviews its own records and can help organise the evidence.

Regulation (EU) 2023/988 establishes general consumer-product safety duties within its scope. It has applied since 13 December 2024. Classification, exclusions and other product-specific legislation still matter.

Handmade production does not create a general exemption. Determine whether the particular product and supply fall within the Regulation and any applicable exclusions or sector-specific rules.

No. Creators and other economic operators remain responsible for applicable safety duties. YOU™ review examines registration materials, not product-safety testing.

Article 19 sets distance-sales information requirements within its scope, including relevant manufacturer/responsible-person details, product identification and safety information. A YOU™ link does not replace the required offer information.

Under ESPR, a DPP is a regulatory mechanism for product information. Detailed requirements are introduced for specific product groups through applicable rules.

No. YOU™ documents one unique work and its registration history. Its NFC Passport does not claim to satisfy an ESPR Digital Product Passport requirement.

No universal obligation follows simply from being handmade. Check the applicable product-group legislation, implementing dates and any relevant exclusions rather than assuming every object already needs one.

Yes. ESPR allows the relevant rules to specify model, batch or item level. It is inaccurate to say regulatory DPPs can never identify an individual object.

The European Commission announced its DPP Registry live for testing on 20 July 2026. This infrastructure development does not make YOU™ part of the Registry. YOU™ does not claim an integration with it.

No. Intended play use, product characteristics and the applicable scope must be considered. Handmade manufacture alone neither makes an object a toy nor exempts it from toy rules.

No. Certain genuine collector products may fall outside scope under the relevant conditions, but a label alone cannot change a product’s real intended use and characteristics.

Regulation (EU) 2025/2509 generally applies from 1 August 2030; specified institutional and preparatory provisions apply earlier. Until the transition, the current toy-safety framework must still be considered.

The new Toy Safety Regulation provides a Digital Product Passport framework for toys under its applicable provisions and timing. Do not treat all obligations as already generally applicable before their application date.

No. YOU™ registration does not replace toy safety obligations or any required Digital Product Passport.

No. YOU™ provides registration documentation and can route an enquiry to independent legal professionals where available. A lawyer’s advice or representation requires a separate engagement.

No. Free registration, Certificate, NFC and transfer prices do not include a lawyer, litigation funding or court fees. Agree scope and fees directly with the professional.

A suitably engaged lawyer may assess the facts and advise on correspondence, platform claims, negotiation or other action. A requested action is not automatically appropriate or guaranteed.

Court proceedings may be an option after legal assessment. No registration, Certificate or timestamp guarantees success; evidence, rights, applicable law and jurisdiction matter.

Your account contact, work ID, a concise description, countries involved, links, screenshots, dates and relevant correspondence. Share only necessary information and do not send passwords.

No. Artists see their own submitted works. A user’s catalogue contains records that user has checked by number while signed in, not the full database of registered works.

Public work information and selected photographs are distinct from private account details and supporting source material. Do not place sensitive personal information in public descriptions.

Contact support. Applicable rights and retention obligations must be assessed together: an audit trail is not a reason to keep all personal information forever. Required evidence may need restriction or lawful retention instead of immediate deletion.
